Welcome to AHEAD

AHEAD, the Association for Higher Education Access and Disability, is an independent non-profit organisation working to promote full access to and participation in third level education for students with disabilities in Ireland.

This website contains:

• Up-to-date information on all issues relating to disability and third level education.
• Information on publications issued both through AHEAD and other organisations ('publications' section).
• A 'disability information' section provides information on the various different types of disabilities as well as information on third level college resources for students with disabilities. This section is aimed at both students and teachers.
• A 'Student support' section which contains information on supports available for students & graduates such as menotoring programmes and a 'got a query' service
